1. About Artly
Artly is a curated online marketplace connecting buyers with original works by living artists. Artly itself does not create or own the artworks listed — it curates, showcases, and facilitates introductions between buyers and the artists (or galleries) who offer them.
2. Living artists only
Every work listed on Artly is an original piece by an artist who is alive at the time of listing. We do not list prints, reproductions, or works by artists' estates.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. Artist and gallery accounts are reviewed before they can list work; buyer accounts are active immediately.
4. Inquiries & purchases
Artly does not currently process payments online. When you inquire about a work, your message — along with the delivery details you provide — is sent to the artist so the sale can be arranged directly between you. Any resulting purchase, payment, and delivery arrangement is agreed between you and the artist (or gallery), with Artly facilitating introductions, shipping coordination, and support where noted.
5. Pricing
Prices shown are set by the artist or gallery and are believed accurate at the time of listing but may change before a sale is confirmed. Where a work is listed "price on request," pricing is provided directly by the artist upon inquiry.
6. Intellectual property
Artists retain all copyright and intellectual property rights in their work. Purchasing a physical artwork does not transfer reproduction rights unless explicitly agreed in writing with the artist.
7. Prohibited conduct
You may not use Artly to misrepresent a work's authenticity, circumvent a legitimate transaction to avoid marketplace fees, harass another user, or upload content you don't have the rights to.
8. Limitation of liability
Artly is provided "as is." We curate and facilitate but are not a party to the sale contract between buyer and artist/gallery, and we make no warranty as to condition, authenticity, or fitness of any artwork beyond what is stated in a listing.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use of Artly after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
